International Sanskrit Examination Resource

Why Cambridge Sanskrit IGCSE®

The Cambridge examinations provide for students attracted to an intellectual challenge and who are curious to uncover timeless wisdom for themselves rather than simply rely on translations.

The syllabus is special in that it includes philosophic and cultural content which appeals to students of all subjects - sciences, maths, arts and humanities. Students are able to read the Bhagavad Gita, and the Hitopadesha, in the original language.

Cambridge qualifications are valid towards university admission in India and world-wide.

2019 onwards:  A new, updated version of the Cambridge Sanskrit IGCSE® examination will be held in May/June 2019.  There will be one examination covering all levels of ability and it will consist of two papers.

These examinations are available to all schools world-wide.
